After receiving the donation from our page https://www.gofundme.com/f/restrooms-renovation-lyakirimu-school-tanzania. This is the current project we are working on. We have renovated the girls' bathroom at one of the schools in Tanzania and we are still waiting for another donation from our page for more renovation in other schools do develop equity to both genders in Tanzanian schools.
After the renovation this is the output of our work, we have accomplished building a room in the bathroom where the girls can change their pads and incase of any problems like stomachache they can rest for a while and later on continue with their studies this can help the girls feel comfortable especially when their at school and during their menstruation period.
Before starting to use the bathroom life skills education offered to students in the school this was to help the students feel free and use the bathroom appropriately the basic taught element was cleanness, menstrual hygiene and safe life at school.
